Each one of these little coin purses is 100% unique because they are made from swatches of recycled huipils and saris. A huipil is a traditional blouse worn by women in Guatemala. A sari is a garment traditionally worn by women in India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal. Upcycling these beautiful fabrics provides an opportunity to learn sewing and embroidery skills in turn creating jobs and income. Made in Ecuador and Bangladesh.
