The holidays are over but if you’re like me, the celebrating and gift-giving doesn’t end on December 31st. I have Birthdays to celebrate in January and February which means gift-giving and cake! I love celebrating Birthdays and I love cake! I’m going to make this very easy on myself - you should, too - by gifting these gorgeous hand-made scarves from the Maisha Collective at Heshima Kenya. Hand cut, sewn, tied and dyed by women and young women refugees in Kenya. I’ve been wearing the Nadia Plum and Blue but another favorite is the Angie Honey Pomegranate-a great pop of color this time of year. And, for the teens’ Birthdays, the double arrow and perpendicular rings are perfect. All are found at Sophedgy. They will love knowing you made a purchase with a purpose on their behalf. Oh, and here are some suggestions on how to wear those beautiful scarves. I would love to see you, your bestie, mom, sister, daughter wearing the scarf or the rings so please send me a picture at: firstname.lastname@example.org! And, as always, please write me if you have any questions about these products.
